Beard hair transplant

Beard hair transplantation is a cosmetic procedure in which hair is taken from a part of the body and transplanted into the beard region to thicken patchy beard hair or create a completely new beard. This procedure is particularly suitable for men who do not have dense beard growth due to genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, scars or injuries.

Transplantation is usually carried out using two main methods: the FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction) and the FUT technique (Follicular Unit Transplantation). In the FUE method, individual hair follicles are extracted directly from the donor area, usually at the back of the head, and implanted in the beard region. In the FUT method, a strip of skin with hair is removed from the donor area, divided into individual follicles and then transplanted. The FUE method is often preferred due to its minimal scarring and shorter recovery time.

The aim of beard hair transplantation is to achieve a natural-looking result that is permanent. The transplanted hair usually falls out within the first two weeks, which is a normal part of the healing process. Final growth begins after about three to four months, and the final result can be assessed after six to twelve months.
